Help keep the Lowell Folk Festival FREE!

The Lowell Folk Festival is a massive celebration of the roots, richness and variety of American culture through music, dance, traditional craft and food, and it is the second largest FREE folk festival in the USA. It is one of many festivals that originated from the National Folk Festival, (which Lowell hosted from 1987 to 1989) and a team of dedicated and determined volunteers continue the tradition to this day. Throughout the streets of downtown Lowell, in the footprint of the Lowell National Historical Park, event attendees will discover five outdoor stages of traditional folk music, a family fun area, authentic craft demonstrations, and ethnic food vendors.

The festival costs $1,000,000 to produce and is only made possible by the generosity of our donors and sponsors. Please help us continue this celebration of music, joy, community and heritage. By making a donation today, you help the Lowell Folk Festival continue to bring you the highest quality traditional performances from around the world. Every dollar helps in the planning and implementation. Help keep the Lowell Folk Festival FREE by donating today!
