This art class is a wonderful way for children to learn many painting styles and techniques while emulating the artwork of famous artists. We will do watercolor like Monet an impasto in the style of Van Gogh, a textural turner landscape as well as a look at two children's illustrators. Students will work with a variety of media and will be given a bit of art history each day. All materials are included.

Kathryn Spinelli-Dunn attended both the University of Massachusetts and the University of Colorado at Boulder earning both her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters in Art Education. She taught college-level art courses while earning her degrees in drawing, painting and art history and has taught both children and adults for 25+years.
She is an active member of the Newburyport Art Association, York Art Association and the Nashua Art Association, and previously the Lowell Brush with History as well as the Pirate Gallery of Contemporary Art (Boulder, CO) and the Bromfield Gallery (Boston, MA).
Her work has been exhibited in countless shows and has received numerous awards throughout the area.
Recently, she has been involved in several one woman shows and has been recognized for her large, powerful restaurant murals both in Massachusetts and in New Hampshire.
Kathryn has also been actively involved with the Westford Regional Art Event, where she served as the director for many years, as well as being an active co-director and volunteer.
